I love this piece. Sometimes reading about parenting gets a bad rap - you see a lot of "just spend time with them, that's all you need". I'm convinced that's not true. I remember vividly educating myself as my eldest became a teenager, and my wife and learnt things we've implemented time and time again.

Jeff, I'm curious if you've found any AI tools you think are particularly useful, especially for dads!

honestly, my Meta glasses. I bought them over the holidays and they're so great from a daddy'ing perspective. I take so many more videos and photos of my boys (I used to hate pulling my phone out and having them 'pose' for pictures). Also, I can answer my children's ridiculously good, albiet too scientific questions in a snap because I can ask my Meta glasses "why isn't the air warmer as we fly higher in an airplane."

Do you feel like you’re able to wear them without them becoming a distraction?

I’ve been really intrigued by wearable AI, but I also don’t want it to overrun my life, you know?

yes, as there is an on/off button on the glasses so they don't always need to be tech - sometimes they can just be glasses :)
